Joan is a Registered Psychotherapist currently working at Christian Counselling Services.
She has a masters degree in counselling psychology (M.Sc.) with specialized training in marriage and family counselling.
She has experience working with persons diagnosed with STIs, HIV, and AIDS as well as women who have been victims of domestic violence.
In addition, Joan has many years of experience teaching at the tertiary level and delivering seminars and workshops at the community level
with special interest in parenting as well as career choice and change.
With a passion for research she has also participated in research projects and presented internationally at psychology conferences.
