Janice Lang
(Registered Psychotherapist)

B.Ed. M.A., RP

Janice (Jan) trained as a teacher and has worked in education for most of her career, most recently as a consultant and a guidance counsellor at the elementary level. It was her work as counsellor that led her to return to school and complete a Masters degree in psychology.

Throughout her career Janice has led workshops and groups, most recently regarding mental health and its impact on classroom performance and coping with grief. Given her elementary background she enjoys working with children and youth as well as individuals and families. She is interested in helping those who are dealing with grief, as a result of loss from death, illness, work, and life transitions; depression; anxiety; and relationships.

In her leisure time Jan enjoys reading, hiking, kayaking, travelling and especially spending time with her friends and family, in particular her grandchildren who help to keep her young and vital.
