Joyce is a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist who journeys
with those who are seeking healing and transformation in the inward,
upward and outward dimensions of their lives. She offers compassionate
psychotherapeutic care for individuals, couples and families.
As a member of SIM (Serving in Mission) Joyce’s experience
includes over 30 years in pastoral care, education, counselling
and chaplaincy primarily in cross cultural settings in Africa.
She is deeply respectful of people from diverse backgrounds. She
is also a survivor of overseas civil unrest and riots. Joyce's
practice includes expatriate and third culture youth and adults,
spiritual concerns, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss,
compassion fatigue, intercultural, pre-marital and couple counselling,
life transitions including the elderly and their families.
Joyce is a member of the Ontario Association of Marriage and Family
Therapy, the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy,
Christian Association for Psychological Studies, Canadian Association for Spiritual Care.
